In a debate article in Dagens Industri (DI) today, the CEOs of four Nordic publisher organisations address the ongoing debate of how digital companies such as Facebook and Google should be taxed. “Nordic tax regulations favour companies such as Google and Facebook at the cost of Nordic media companies,” according to a new report by PWC.
They write that the report makes it clear that current tax legislation is poorly adapted to digital models and distorts competition. They urge the Nordic governments to quickly and actively move towards fair and competition neutral tax rules.
