After major losses and capital injections of SEK 755, Wallenberg, Proventus and Folksam have sold the wind power company Power Wind Partners. The buyer is the Germany power group EnBW, which has said Sweden is part of its new offensive in renewable energy.
EnBW has, within a short space of time, bought two wind power companies in Sweden with a total of seven farms and 51 turbines.
The acquisition provides a platform for further growth. “It is an important step and the goal is to continue growing here and positioning ourselves as a reliable partner for further expansion within renewable energy,” says chair of EnBW Sweden, Torbjörn Sjölin.
