The EU could be about to stop Myanmar’s tariff-free trade with the EU in protest over way the Rohingya minority group is treated. Reuters reports that the Swedish Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström is pushing to start a process of introducing sanctions. EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini instead wants to be more cautious and is concerned that sanctions would affect civilians.
