The Swedish National Financial Management Authority (ESV) has reported a central government budget surplus of SEK 6.7 billion in September, SEK 1.7 less than a year ago.
Total revenue amounted to SEK 78.5 billion, an increase of SEK 3.7 billion, while expenditure amounted to SEK 71.8 billion, an increase of SEK 5.3 billion.
The budget surplus for the first nine months of the year totalled SEK 133 billion.
